Who We Are

On September 12, 1897, 21 Sikh soldiers under Havildar Ishar Singh defended the post of Saragarhi against ~10,000 attackers. Despite overwhelming odds, they fought until their last breath. Their supreme sacrifice earned global respect, and the battle is considered one of history’s greatest last stands.

This Gurdwara in Hangu is one of the closest Sikh shrines to the actual battlefield, connecting present-day sangat with Sikh martial and spiritual heritage.
